Thank you so much for the very detailed report you compiled for M. It was such an interesting and useful read, and I have definitely implemented a few tips into our routines/ lives which have been beneficial already. It was particularly helpful reading the information in headed paragraphs.

After 3 months of toilet training our 3.5 year old son Adam, he still had a ‘fear’ of pooing in the toilet, so after feeling desperate and stressed, a few of the other mum’s at his nursery recommended that we call Gilly for help.

We knew we had nothing to lose and hopefully lots to gain! Gilly came for a 1 hour session, and our son enjoyed every minute. We had read Gilly’s book, Polly Poo Goes Home with him many times, so it then all came to life when Gilly was here with him! She made it lots of fun. We could tell Adam was taking it all in, and so were we! Gilly is great with children.

We are so happy Gilly’s methods worked for Adam. We would definitely recommend having Gilly visit if your toddler has an aversion to pooing in the toilet.

I called Gilly on the recommendation of a friend, as I was having difficulty getting my little boy to self- settle and I wanted someone to be with me as I put him down for some guidance and support.

Gilly came to my flat and was very reassuring, lovely and very supportive without being judgmental.

We went through my current routine and she suggested tweaks I could make. She then stayed with me whilst I put Leo to bed and when he woke up after 20 minutes, how to get him back to sleep.

I was also able to text Gilly afterwards and she always replied straight away which made me feel I was not alone and gave me the confidence I needed.

I would highly recommend Gilly and look forward to using her nannying service in the future.

I have 3 children but Gilly specifically came to see my middle child, Blake who is 5 years old. I knew that Blake wouldn’t act up in front of someone he didn’t know so was wondering how she could help him.

Gilly came with toys so my 3 children were at ease and were very happy to talk about their day and what they had done. Blake really opened up to Gilly and explained why he sometimes gets angry when things don’t go his way and how he doesn’t like to go to bed on his own.

Gilly gave him ideas for what to do when he had these feelings and he really seems to have taken it on board. She has also made bedtimes so much easier as she has given him a couple of suggestions that have made him feel more comfortable being in the bed on his own.

The report she wrote has also been very helpful for me as I have referred back to it a couple of times and gone over the ideas with Blake so as to keep them fresh in his mind.  Thank you so much Gilly for helping Blake and I xxx

Can I just say what amazing, reassuring and professionalism there is at “Nanny to the Rescue”

My baby hasn’t slept through the night and he’s 7 months. I thought it was just me and clearly was doing something wrong.

Everyone was talking about “Nanny to the rescue” so I gave her a call and wow she guided me through everything, gave me options and was on the phone with me the whole evening.

My child slept until 7am!!!

Thank you so much !!

After 3 months of toilet training our 3.5 year old son Ben, he still had a ‘fear’ of pooing in the toilet, so after feeling desperate and stressed, a few of the other mum’s at his nursery recommended that we call Gilly for help. We could tell Ben was taking it all in, and so were we! Gilly is great with children.

We knew her methods were no guarantee, but after the session, we put into constant practise almost everything she suggested….and the first positive thing we noticed was that after her visit, our son had changed the way he was thinking and suddenly didn’t want to poo in his pants! A big change and step forward. We continued with the ’tools’ and ideas, which are all great fun for toddlers and parents too…and a week and a half later, our son did a poo in the toilet, and has been ok ever since then! We thought it would take longer! We had a fun WhatsApp video chat with her so Ben could tell her and Gilly could praise him! We are so happy Gilly’s methods worked for Adam. We would definitely recommend having Gilly visit if your toddler has an aversion to pooing in the toilet.
